Being one of the most famous summer trek to, getting featured in the blockbuster movie "Yeh Jawani Hai Dewani" Hampta pass its always the first choice of trekkers. The trek offers a contrast from the lush green valley of Kullu to dry and arid valley of Spiti and this makes this trek the most dramatic trek of HimalayasThe trek route is remarkably rich with vegetation has lot of scenic landscapes.


Why Hampta Pass Trek is so popular?

It is an amazing crossover of Himalayan valley and Spiti valley, with amazing views of peaks rising above 6000 m, beautiful waterfall of chikka, the flat green meadows Jwara, vertical rock towers and much more. It is an easy to moderate level trek which is best suitable for beginner trekkers.


Which is the best time to do this trek and can we do it solo?

This trek starts from early June till late October but the best time to do this trek is from mid of June to September, you can find snow in June, Yes you can do this trek solo but if you're trekking for the first time then you should go with an good and viable trekking organization. 


How long this trek is and how much will it cost ?

It is a 6 day long trek from the both basecamps (Rumsu and Jobra). If you're doing this trek solo then it will averagely cost you around 10,000 INR , and if you wish to do this trek with any trekking organization, then they will charge you around 8,000 - 10,000 INR.
